Extended arm reach and speed

The PortaBase 175 has a 175cm and 360° arm reach, making it suitable for larger and wider cutters.

The Robot PortaBase consists of an integrated UR20e robot connected to Zünd software.

Extended gripper with a payload of 20kg

Robust gripper with suction cups, pinchers, or vacuum plate for picking from 50mm to 1200x1600mm depending on application and substrate.

Robust robot base that can be moved with a pallet lift

Mounted on a portable base, the robot can be easily relocated using a standard pallet lifter. Its arm is adjustable, allowing for maximum reach when elevated.

The Robot PortaBase can function as a collaborative robot at slower speeds and transitions to a conventional robot at higher speeds.

Picking, sorting, kitting and stacking

Pick, sort, kit or stack into boxes, crates, roller tables or pallets.

Perfectly designed for use with standard bins in different sizes. Easy setup with predefined stack layouts.

 

Loading and unloading

The PortaBase effortlessly loads and retrieves sheets from the cutter during tandem production.

Save and reduce manual labor with automated production. Picking and sorting of the cut parts is handled automatically by the robot.

Picking from roll

With the extended gripper, rows of different items can easily be picked from the cutter and stacked directly on a pallet or table.

 Tandem production with Robot PortaBase 175

Robot PortaBase 175 effortlessly retrieves sheets from the Zünd cutter during tandem production, seamlessly handling 8000 items across 200 sheets without requiring any manual intervention.

This process, accomplished with zero man hours, includes loading from a single stack, precise sheet alignment, and unloading into two separate stacks.

Intuitive Software

The PortaBase comes pre-programmed with Robotfactory Control Center (RFC) software that easily installs on cutters Windows computer and connects to Zünd Cut Center.

Powerful grippers

Multiple grippers are available for different applications. Each gripper comes with a quick-connector for easy changeover.

New! Combi Gripper 75105

The Combi Gripper 75105 can be used for loading and unloading sheets in sizes from 500 x 700 mm up to the maximum size of 750 x 1050 mm. The gripper offers great flexibility for sheet separation by utilizing the robot’s movements for lifting, tilting, turning, shaking, etc. All parameters are saved in software media profiles.

The gripper can separate the bottom plate from the rest of the gripper using magnets, which makes it possible to place a “mask” of thin airtight material between the gripper and the plate to limit the suction area of the robot.

Cup Gripper 4767

The Cup Gripper 4767 has 16 suction cups in a matrix of 4 x 4. This standard gripper is suitable for both loading and unloading. Suction cups are individually activated for optimal picking.
